My current job

I currently work for a company called SMKD as a junior web developer. This job involves doing UI/UX design on Figma, making edits on the website using Wordpress and coding certain sections of the site. In this job, I have learnt how to use Github for version control and I have learnt how to troubleshoot a lot of different issues which is good for testing my abilities with coding. This is also a good thing as it tests my logic and problem solving abilities.

This is a collection of websites that I designed and coded over my time at university. The first one is a website for a new festival that was made as part of a group project in my first year of university and I coded the website after everyone in the group worked together on the design. This website was coded statically using HTML and CSS with wireframes draw on paper.

In my 2nd year of university, I did another group project but the assignment this time was to make a promotional website and other promotional materials for a charity event that exists alongside the charity Movember. Our charity event was called the Movember Mile and this was about getting people to run, jog or walk a mile in the month of November for charity. Once again, my main assignment was making the website but this time I also made social media pages for the event. This website was coded statically using HTML and CSS.

In my 3rd year, I made a website about shops in Leeds City Centre as part of the Web Development module, this website was first coded in HTML, CSS, jQuery and JavaScript and then brought over to WordPress. I also made wireframes for this using Adobe XD.
